About Panvas

Panvas is a free MIT local-first workspace for technical notes: hierarchical notebooks with TipTap rich text, KaTeX and code, pressure-aware vector ink, in-place PDF annotation, and an Excalidraw infinite canvas. Windows 10/11 x64 ships an Electron installer and portable EXE (v0.1.9); there is also a hosted browser app at panvas.vercel.app/app (IndexedDB). Ordinary use needs no account; optional Google Drive sync and analytics are off by default. Windows builds are unsigned and may trigger SmartScreen — verify the SHA-256 sums on the GitHub release. Native macOS and Linux installers are not available yet. Solo project by Sumit Ahmed.
