About WinShun

WinShun is a fast search launcher for Windows: press Ctrl twice and results appear as you type. It indexes drives directly from the NTFS master file table, so millions of files are searchable in milliseconds without installing Everything, and it can also search inside Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF files, launch apps and system settings, search Open/Save dialogs, and keep a searchable clipboard history with OCR. It adds a taskbar search box, favorites, plugins and an MCP server for AI assistants. No account, no uploads. The interface is available in English and Simplified Chinese, and it is MIT-licensed with installer and portable builds. The installer is unsigned.
