Rovar
A Figma-like open-source UI design editor in Rust: auto layout, components, vectors and interactive prototypes.
About Rovar
Rovar is a Figma-like interface design editor built in Rust with the GPUI framework. It has artboards and multi-page documents, vector shapes and Bezier paths, boolean operations and masks, auto layout and grid layouts, constraints, reusable components with variants and overrides, gradients, shadows and blurs, and interactive prototypes with click and hover actions. Designs export to PNG and SVG, and an AI agent can create and edit layers in the running desktop editor through a local protocol. Use it locally or connect to a self-hosted server for personal and team workspaces with sync. The interface is in English and Simplified Chinese. MIT-licensed. Early version: v0.3.0 (October 18, 2026). The Web editor is experimental, needs WebGPU and runs from your own server. Builds are not code-signed: the Windows installer is unsigned and the macOS app (Apple Silicon only) is ad-hoc signed.
