About Compositor

A native macOS image editor made by a solo designer who wanted Photoshop's workflow without the subscription. It has layers and folders with the full set of Photoshop blend modes, layer and clipping masks, adjustment layers (Curves, Levels, Hue/Saturation, Gradient Map and more), and GPU-rendered layer effects. Retouching tools include spot healing, clone stamp and liquify. Official builds are Mac only (Apple silicon, macOS 26+), signed and notarized; there are no official Windows or Linux builds.
